So you want to know about us... Well pull up a chair... I hope you can understand my Scottish accent...after all I'm from the Shetland Isles off the north coast of Scotland originally...
I'm Hamish, a Sheltie, and this is all my fault...or so I get told. You see ever since I was a wee puppy I could not - nae! would not, eat those hard commercial cookies that you get in most shops...
After all they are full of chemicals and all sorts or nasty stuff - I mean to say - who wants a 'treat' that's been on the shelf for 3 months????
So my mum (the Scottish spelling of mom) - baked a cookie especially for me - She's a great baker...She made a cookie now known as Hamish and Danny's favorite (Danny's my buddy - he's a Cocker) Anyway this cookie had chicken and parmesan cheese and all kinds of smelly stuff in it - you call one thing garlic!
Anyway...We started to give this cookie out to some of our friends in the neighborhood and donated them to the Animal Care League Christmas Bazzare...
My dad also started making them for me - he's been baking Scottish shortbreads since he was a puppy too. Anyway a while ago they decided to give all the dogs in the area the chance to get healthy treats - so the story goes on.... They opened a shop and now have lots and lots of different cookies and cakes - They are really for dogs - but even human folks come in for them to eat themselves....
In October 2005 I passed onto Doggy Heaven but look down each day to check that my mum and dad are still looking after my other dog friends - especially an old Cocker called Danny- he's my best buddy...
